Prior to joining The Haven family, she served as the assistant director of the Susquehanna University Fund. She also spent time in Penn State University鈥檚 Division of Development and Alumni Relations.

鈥淚 would like to congratulate (Koser) on her appointment as the LHU Foundation鈥檚 next executive director,鈥 said Dr. Bashar W. In her role as executive director, Koser will oversee daily operations of the LHU Foundation鈥檚 development and finance teams, while simultaneously leading the execution of all fundraising campaigns 鈥 Including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and other revenue-generating initiatives.

鈥淔or the past nine years, I鈥檝e dedicated my career to building relationships with Lock Haven University alumni and uniting donors鈥 philanthropic passions with students鈥 professional aspirations to help make each of their respective dreams come true,鈥 Koser said.

鈥淓verything we do at the LHU Foundation is centered on empowering students to graduate and leave their mark on society,鈥 she added. 鈥淚鈥檓 honored that the board of directors, Dr. Hanna, and Erik Evans 鈥88 (vice president for institutional advancement) are entrusting me with this great opportunity to continue the philanthropic work I so deeply believe in.鈥

鈥(Koser鈥檚) enthusiasm and eagerness to learn have been on full display throughout her time at The Haven,鈥 Evans said. 鈥淪he truly cares for her team, LHUF supporters, and the entire LHU alumni network. I鈥檓 looking forward to seeing her continue to grow as we embark on this new and exciting chapter in the LHU Foundation鈥檚 history.鈥

鈥淥n behalf of the board of directors, we are thrilled to have Ashley Koser at the helm to lead the LHU Foundation into the future,鈥 said LHUF board chairperson Jennifer Riter 鈥96. 鈥淚鈥檝e had the pleasure of working with Ashley many times throughout the years, and I鈥檝e always been impressed with her wealth of knowledge, passion for, and commitment to supporting Lock Haven University students.鈥

Also within the Lock Haven University Advancement Division, Ashley Conrad has been named LHU鈥檚 director of alumni and employer engagement.

Conrad began at the LHUF in 2016 as its development assistant. In 2020, she was promoted to LHU鈥檚 alumni events manager, and for the last year, she has served as interim director of alumni relations for Mansfield University. Before her stint at The Haven, she spent six years in finance and development at Penn State University.

In her new role, Conrad will be responsible for engaging LHU鈥檚 network of more than 37,000 living alumni to increase alumni-student partnerships and expand upon the career pathways and professional networking opportunities available to LHU students.

鈥淚 cannot think of anyone better qualified to help guide the LHU Alumni Association鈥檚 mission to preserve the legacy, history, and traditions of Lock Haven University (than Conrad),鈥 said LHU Alumni Association president Amee Lewis Vance 鈥75. 鈥淭ogether, we are eager to find new and innovative ways to connect our alumni network with as many students as possible to ensure all students achieve their academic and professional goals.鈥
